We almost froze last January for these photos, but they were absolutely worth it! A snow storm was in the forecast, but we needed to get these photos done on winter break for these two, so we opted to push back the time in order to beat the weather. It worked out perfectly! It started sleeting as soon as we were taking the final photos. They brought some family members to take care of their ADORABLE pups while we got couples portraits in Forest Park. We used the architecture in front of the Art Museum to block some of the bitter wind and later used the icy fountains of the Grand Basin as a backdrop. The blue reflection of the branches over the water is to die for! Although winters here are cold, I love the neutral tones that dominate the landscape during this season. It’s a fresh change from the usual Missouri greens and makes me even more excited for spring!
